Shepherd Neame is looking for a part-time Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef seeking a fresh challenge and aiming to develop your career in the kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Swan and Dog is situated in the historic village of Great Chart, near Ashford. The main street through the village is a conservation area with many listed buildings, including the Swan & Dog, a timber-framed building dating back to the 16th century. Originally named the Swan Inn, it was renamed in homage to the other village pub, formerly known as the Black Dog.

We believe that excellent chefs are the key to a successful kitchen. In this role, you will be working as part of our friendly and supportive kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.

Previous catering experience is beneficial, but if you lack experience, don’t worry. If you love food, are confident, motivated, and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else you need to know.
