Job description

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Electrical Systems and compliance with the planned and corrective maintenance system on board the vessel.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer in performing active leadership of the Technical Department.

Job requirements

  • BOSIET / FOET / CA-EBS - Not mandatory on appointment
  • OEUK or Equivalent
  • Seafarers Medical (ENG-1)
  • STCW Certificate of Competence (ETO III / 6 - Limited)
  • CoP in Designated Security Duties
  • High Voltage 1000KW (Management Level)
  • STCW Personal Survival Techniques
  • STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
  • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
  • STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
  • Hazardous Areas Elect Ex Competency
