Castle Retirement Village based in Berkhamsted is on the lookout for a Bank Care Worker / Emergency Responder - to cover holidays and sickness.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during emergencies. Your primary duties will include :
- Responding promptly to emergency calls within the retirement village.
- Assessing the nature of emergencies and providing appropriate assistance.
- Administering first aid and basic medical care when necessary.
- Coordinating with emergency services (police, fire department, ambulance) as required.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and staff during emergency situations.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
- Moral and emotional support to our residents
Requirements :
Proven experience as an emergency responder, EMT, or similar role preferred.Certification in CPR / First Aid required.Educated to NVQ Level 3Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.Empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.Physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies and assist residents as needed.Benefits :
