Senior Accountant in Welwyn Garden City

Up to £60K DOE

Puro Associates are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join an established accountancy team in Welwyn Garden City. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable firm that is committed to providing high-quality financial services to their clients. Responsibilities :

  • Managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Preparing and filing year end accounts under both FRS102 & FRS105
  • Preparing and submitting both personal & corporate tax returns
  • Offering tax advice where possible
  • Overseeing bookkeeping & VAT returns
  • Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary
  • Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development

    • Requirements :

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A UK ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE (Please note that working in a private company is not relevant experience for this role & applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered)
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by relevant experience
  • Experience working with a variety of clients
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
