The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in leading our 2 & 4 bed children’s homes. You’ll help deliver outstanding care, lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance. You will be required to have extensive knowledge of the following legislation : Children’s Act, Children’s Homes Regulations, OFSTED Regulations (REG 40, 44 & 45).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist all staff in day-to-day home management, providing leadership, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth
• Support all staff to ensure you are all fully compliant with the company’s policies, procedures, legislation and social policy
• Ensuring safeguarding, risk assessments & care plans are up to date
• Work with multi-agency teams, families, and professionals to ensure best practice
• Supporting with the recruitment, inductions and participating in any disciplinary processes
