Role Overview

The Technical Specialist will provide high-quality IT support to our clients in Glasgow, acting as a 3rd line engineer handling escalated support calls. The role requires liaising with clients, accessing support tools, and managing IT infrastructure proactively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests within agreed targets
  • Provide remote desktop and server support
  • Serve as an escalation point for technical issues
  • Manage client networks proactively
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships

Skills & Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum six years’ experience in IT support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft MCP
  • High-level understanding of IT and networking

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • IT-related degree and valid driver’s license
  • Technical Skills

  • Experience with VMWare ESXi, SAN topology, hardware
