We are seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our team, supporting infrastructure maintenance, renewal, and innovation across the UK. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in a safety-first, client-centric environment that fosters respect, fun, and success.

Based in Bury St Edmunds, supporting the UK’s transportation network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of highway maintenance and improvement schemes, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Perform technical design checks, site visits, surveys, and inspections.
  • Manage resource planning and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including sub-consultants.
  • Support people management activities such as training, performance reviews, mentoring, and development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status, or extensive experience working towards IEng / CEng.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary highway projects, with knowledge of design standards and contracts.
  • Proficiency in alignment, drainage, sign design software, and AutoCAD.
  • Commercial awareness and project delivery experience.
  • Full UK / EEC driving license.
