Looking to join a highly ranked L500 Residential Property department in the heart of Edinburgh?

This leading department is seeking its next Residential Property Senior Associate to join one of the most well-sourced teams in the country and work on complex Residential Property matters with top-tier clientele.

Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded, L500-ranked firm as a Senior Associate in their busy Residential Property team. You will handle all aspects of residential conveyancing, including purchases, sales, new builds, re-mortgages and title transfers, while also advising developers on land and building acquisitions on occasion.

You'll manage a varied portfolio working closely with solicitors, lenders and third parties to drive successful outcomes.

The role also provides opportunities to collaborate across departments, identifying areas for cross-referrals and supporting wider business growth.

As a senior team member, you'll also play a key part in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the development of the team and the firm's presence in Edinburgh and beyond.

Your Experience

  • An experienced Residential Property Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
  • A strong background in managing conveyancing transactions from start to finish
  • You'll be commercially minded, well-organised and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, both for maintaining long-standing client relationships and for developing new business.
  • A real collaborative team player, with the ability to support and mentor others and a genuine passion for delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Work with a forward-thinking and supportive firm offering genuine progression opportunities.
  • Exposure to high-quality residential property work and the chance to contribute to broader firm initiatives.
  • A collaborative, inclusive culture where your contributions are valued and your career development is prioritised.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, with a focus on well-being, work-life balance and flexibility.
  • Be part of a respected team in Edinburgh, with the backing of a wider network and opportunities to grow your profile across the region.
