We're looking for hard-working dog lovers (and animals) like you to join our manufacturing team in Blyth, Doncaster. In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive wage of £12.84 per hour plus a shift premium of 20% ( £15.41 per hour). The base salary is £27,468, with a 20% increase to £32,961 .
You might know this role as a Machine Operator, Machine Technician, or Manufacturing Technician, but at Butternut, we call this a Skilled Operator.

Located in Blyth, Doncaster (just off the Junction of A1(M) and A614 Hill Top Roundabout, S81 8HG), Rudie's Kitchen is where our meals (currently 12 recipes) are gently cooked using human-quality ingredients. It’s also where we package and box our meals for customers across the UK. We foster a close-knit, family-like environment and are eager to welcome more like-minded people to keep work fun and enjoyable.
Employment Details
This is a full-time, permanent role with an average of 41 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and some weekends. Shifts typically run from 7am to 7pm for days and 7pm to 7am for nights, with rotations such as :
- 4 days on, 4 days off (2 days, 2 nights)
- 5 days on, 5 days off (3 days, 2 nights)
- 5 days on, 5 days off (2 days, 3 nights)
