Senior Care Assistant

Are you a dedicated Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ Level 3 qualification and a passion for leading care teams? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider in Southampton looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their team.

Roles

Lead and support a team of Care Assistants on shift

Administer medication and ensure care plans are up-to-date

Maintain accurate records and support compliance standards

Mentor and support new and junior staff members

Assist residents with personal care and ensure their dignity is upheld

Liaise with families, GPs, and external healthcare professionals

Requirements :

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)

Previous experience in a senior or supervisory care role

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Must be eligible to work in the UK ( No visa sponsorship provided )

Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
