Your New Role

Reportingto the CEO, this position plays a central role in shaping and guiding the finance function. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with a proven record of leading and transforming large finance teams. They bring strong technical acumen across management accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, treasury, process improvement, and internal controls. The role is set within a period of significant finance transformation, requiring someone with both strategic vision and operational effectiveness. While charity sector reporting experience is advantageous, it is not essential. What sets the successful candidate apart is their ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and influence senior stakeholders across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full professional accounting qualification (, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Extensive background in financial accounting, with a strong record of progression and impact
• Skilled in preparing statutory accounts and coordinating external audit processes from start to finish
• Proven experience leading and shaping large finance teams withinplex organisational structures
• Demonstrates success in driving finance team evolution and implementing improvements in systems and workflows
