Key Responsibilities :
Team Leadership : Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring efficient task allocation across the teamStaff Development : Mentor and support the engineering team to build capability and improve plant reliabilityProject Delivery : Lead engineering improvement projects in collaboration with central teamsDeputy Responsibility : Supporting the Engineering Manager when required to maintain operational continuityContractor Management : Supervise subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with health and safety protocolsIssue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve recurring issues through robust engineering solutions and RCA techniquesReliability Focus : Promote engineering best practices to increase uptime and reduce reactive maintenanceExperience & Qualifications Required :
Essential : Time-served UK Apprenticeship or BTEC & NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Electrical Engineering or a relevant disciplineProven experience in a supervisory engineering or maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong understanding of PPM systems, reliability principles, and root cause analysisExcellent awareness of health & safety and engineering compliance standardsAbility to lead teams and manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environmentApply now and take the next step in your engineering leadership career.
