What will you be doing?
To provide our clients with first class service in regard to all aspects of end-to-end financial due diligence and SPA advice. To manage teams, by supporting recruitment, retention and development of individuals. Develop new relationships and nurture existing relationships to win work directly and be a key influence to support partners in winning work.
As Director - Transaction Services, your responsibilities will include among others
Client work
- Taking ownership for project management and reporting on engagements
- Day to day contact for the client during the assignment
- Ensuring the completion of client take on processes and other risk management procedures
- Drafting and agreeing scopes of work
- Preparation of budgets and management of WIP and negotiation of fees
- Directing the key aspects of the review : analysing, reviewing and commenting on historical and forecast trading results and trends ; SPA advice
- Reviewing / drafting the report and other client deliverables
- Management of the team and review their work
- Liaising with other lines of service eg tax, and review of their output
Supervision
Delegation and oversight of work to junior staff, reviewing and challenging their output;Appraisals / monitor staff performanceMotivation and development of staff; assistance with recruitmentOn the job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basisTaking the lead on internal initiativesKey influence on building the brandBusiness development and marketing
Preparing pitch documentsDriving the development and execution of business development initiativesDeveloping expertise in niche industry sectorsBuilding new networks and developing relationshipsMaintaining and nurture client relationshipsWinning work directly and be a key influence alongside other partners for winning new workQualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
Extensive experience and knowledge of Transaction ServicesDemonstrable experience in business development, with a proven track record of winning new clients and developing commercial relationshipsEducated to degree level or equivalentA relevant professional qualification, for example Chartered Accountant or Corporate Finance Diploma is desirable although not essentialAdditional Information
