Experience required…
Essential :
Detailed knowledge of the aviation sector, including experience working with airports, operators, aerospace, or aviation infrastructure projects.Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex aviation projects from conception to completion. This includes overseeing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver successful outcomes.Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards (e.g., CAA, EASA). Compliance with these standards is crucial for ensuring project safety and legality.A solid grasp of aviation-specific technologies, infrastructure, and operations, such as airside / landside development, runway / taxiway construction, hangar development, or airport terminal projects.Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, airport authorities, contractors, engineers, and government groups.Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks associated with aviation projects, ensuring that projects remain within legal and safety requirements for health and safety.Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers and in managing procurement processes for critical materials and plant.Strong leadership skills in guiding multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project milestones are met and conflicts are resolved quickly.Desirable :
Bachelor’s degree in Project or Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Able to keep up to date with developing standards in aviation safety, security and construction.
