We're seeking a dynamic Controls and Electrical Engineer to provide maintenance support and developing and maintain our automated control systems. Key Responsibilities :

• Specialize in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that automate processes, including programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other automation technologies.
• Ensure that all Control & Electrical assets are maintained in accordance with the company s requirements and in compliance with relevant statutory health & safety and environmental legislation.
• Keep records for plant maintenance and ensure timely inspections and actions based on testing / examining authorities recommendations.
• Champion continuous improvement processes, including breakdown analysis using RCFA techniques, and preventative and condition-based maintenance.
• Provide second-line maintenance support to engineers, facilitating root cause fault diagnosis on critical plant and equipment, and ensuring prompt plant recovery.
• Plan, engineer, and execute Control & Electrical work (projects, shutdowns, or other) safely and efficiently, within the allocated time and budget, to achieve performance and OEE targets.
• Supervise the acceptance and commissioning of plant and equipment, and prepare maintenance schedules and programmes to ensure reliable operation.
• Oversee and coordinate on-site third-party (e.g., contractor) activities to ensure compliance with company requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist in budget development discussions and maintain systems for effective budget monitoring and control.
• Provide expert technical advice on Control & Electrical Engineering to ensure effective decision-making.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery and processes, focusing on system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
