Role Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Plumbing Lecturer to join our Construction team. You will deliver engaging, industry-focused training in both practical workshops and classroom settings, nurturing learners at Levels 1–3 and preparing them for successful careers in plumbing and construction. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured plumbing lessons (covering domestic and commercial systems)
- Assess and support learner progress through practical tasks and theoretical work
- Oversee workshop operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
- Develop learner portfolios and contribute to curriculum planning
- Collaborate with industry partners to facilitate work placements and employer engagement
- Maintain accurate student records, support college inspections, and uphold Safeguarding protocols Essential Requirements
- Recognised plumbing qualification (e.g., Level 2–3 NVQ or City & Guilds)
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training), or willingness to achieve one
- Proven experience in delivering training or teaching in Further Education or apprenticeships
- Strong grasp of current plumbing regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills Desirable Attributes

- Assessor (A1 / D32 / 33) or Internal Verifier qualification
