Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Location : Manchester

Salary : £28,000 - £32,000

A leading engineering consultancy in the heart of Manchester is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects shaping the UK's built environment, from sustainable schools to commercial spaces.

Responsibilities include :

  • Designing efficient electrical systems, including lighting, power, fire alarms, and data networks.
  • Using software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Dialux to develop designs.
  • Learning to manage projects from concept to completion alongside experienced engineers.
  • Collaborating with architects, mechanical engineers, and sustainability experts to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contributing to safer, brighter, and more sustainable buildings.

Ideal candidate :

  • Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Curious, creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Basic understanding of design software (Revit, Dialux, Amtech) is advantageous.
  • Willing to relocate to Manchester and eligible to work in the UK.
