Job description

At AWS, our vision is to make deep learning pervasive for everyday developers and democratize access to innovative infrastructure. To achieve this, we develop innovative software and hardware solutions.

AWS Neuron is the SDK that optimizes the performance of neural net models on AWS Inferentia and Trainium chips, designed to accelerate deep-learning workloads. The Neuron SDK includes a compiler, runtime, and debugger, integrated with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNet. It is preinstalled in AWS Deep Learning AMIs and Containers to enable high-performance, cost-effective inference.

The Neuron team is hiring senior compiler engineers to address our customers' toughest challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products at the intersection of machine learning, high-performance computing, and distributed architectures. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing critical features, publishing research, and mentoring engineers. Our teams are small, agile, and innovative, fostering a unique learning environment.

As a senior deep learning compiler engineer, you will support the development of a compiler targeting AWS Inferentia and Trainium, scaling it for the world's largest ML workloads. You should be technically proficient, credible, and curious, acting as a trusted AWS Neuron engineer. Your role involves collaboration with AWS ML services teams, pre-silicon design, and bringing new products and features to market. Experience in machine learning and AI accelerators is preferred but not required.
