Leaving Care Personal Advisor  Location : Tiverton, Devon Contract : Initially 3 months Hours : 37 per week Pay : £17 – £21 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience (£13-£16 PAYE an hour)Devon County Council is seeking a dedicated Leaving Care Personal Advisor to support young people aged 16–25 as they transition from local authority care into independence.This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the futures of care-experienced young people—providing guidance, practical support, and a trusted relationship when it matters most. Key Responsibilities :

• Manage a caseload of approximately 20 young people
• Provide tailored support to improve life chances, safety, housing, education, employment, and independence
• Build trusting relationships and promote emotional well-being and resilience
• Develop and implement pathway plans based on assessed needs
• Liaise with multi-agency partners to coordinate support and safeguard young people
• Maintain accurate records and ensure statutory duties are met in a timely manner
• Travel locally and occasionally out of county to visit young people
