We are exclusively partnering with a leading international food group to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager with a focus on beef sourcing and supply chain optimisation across the UK. This is a rare opportunity to join a business with one of the largest and most complex protein supply chains in the world .

As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective procurement of beef products to meet both operational and customer demand. Your remit will cover the full spectrum of procurement activities — from supplier relationship management and contract negotiation to strategic planning and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute robust procurement strategies aligned with forecasted demand and long-term business objectives
• Negotiate contracts with beef suppliers across the UK and Europe to secure high-quality, cost-effective, and consistent supply
• Monitor global beef market trends and pricing dynamics to inform procurement decisions and maintain competitive advantage
• Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product flow and supplier compliance
• Identify risks across the beef supply chain and implement contingency plans to safeguard product availability
• Support sustainability goals by aligning procurement practices with responsible sourcing standards and environmental targets
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve product claims and drive continuous improvement in quality and service levels

We’re looking for a commercially astute procurement professional with a strong track record in the protein or beef supply chain — ideally within the foodservice, farming, retail or processing sectors. You’ll be a confident negotiator, data-driven, and capable of navigating complex supplier networks and market fluctuations.
