Job description

Key Responsibilities ​

1.​ Technical Documentation & Engineering ​

Lead the preparation of ​ method statements and risk assessments ​ compliant with UK standards (e.g., BS 7121)

Oversee the ​ design and engineering of seafastening frames and equipment , coordinating with engineering teams for technical validation

2.​ Stakeholder Management ​

Serve as the ​ primary contact for Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS)​ , ensuring third-party compliance and approval of installation methodologies

  • Manage relationships with ​ installation vessel suppliers , optimizing vessel deployment and contract execution.

3.Execution Support ​

Assist the Execution Manager in ​ offshore operations , supervising heavy-lift activities (e.g., wind turbine installations) while ensuring safety, cost, and timeline targets

Develop resource allocation plans for cranes, transport, and personnel

4.Safety & Compliance ​

Implement ​ HSE protocols ​ aligned with UK regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 13852)

Conduct site safety audits and risk mitigation drills

Qualifications & Requirements ​

1.​ Education & Experience ​

Bachelor’s degree in ​ Mechanical / Civil / Offshore Engineering ​ (Master’s preferred).

8+ years ​ in offshore lifting / installation management, with ​ wind energy or oil & gas projects ​ experience.

2.Technical Skills ​

Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).

Expertise in ​ marine operations , heavy lifting (e.g., floating cranes), and seafastening design

3.​ Soft Skills ​

Fluent English ​ (C1+) for technical documentation and cross-border stakeholder engagement

Leadership capabilities to manage multicultural teams and high-pressure offshore environments
