Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation & Engineering
Lead the preparation of method statements and risk assessments compliant with UK standards (e.g., BS 7121)
Oversee the design and engineering of seafastening frames and equipment , coordinating with engineering teams for technical validation
2. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary contact for Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS) , ensuring third-party compliance and approval of installation methodologies
3.Execution Support
Assist the Execution Manager in offshore operations , supervising heavy-lift activities (e.g., wind turbine installations) while ensuring safety, cost, and timeline targets
Develop resource allocation plans for cranes, transport, and personnel
4.Safety & Compliance
Implement HSE protocols aligned with UK regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 13852)
Conduct site safety audits and risk mitigation drills
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Offshore Engineering (Master’s preferred).
8+ years in offshore lifting / installation management, with wind energy or oil & gas projects experience.
2.Technical Skills
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
Expertise in marine operations , heavy lifting (e.g., floating cranes), and seafastening design
3. Soft Skills
Fluent English (C1+) for technical documentation and cross-border stakeholder engagement
Leadership capabilities to manage multicultural teams and high-pressure offshore environments
