CNC Turner

Hours of Work : Full-time (37 hours per week) – days / nights

FTV Proclad International Limited is a worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components.

Due to our current success in securing orders, we are looking to recruit CNC Machine Operators (Turner) to join our team at our Glenrothes facility. We offer a market-competitive hourly rate depending on experience. Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays, pro-rata), a 5% employer pension contribution, and life assurance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and program CNC control systems. Fanuc 32i control panel knowledge is desirable.
• Produce component parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency within the department.
• Support lean manufacturing principles and good housekeeping practices.
• Ensure all Job Instruction Sheet tasks are booked on and closed off according to procedures and codes.
• Maintain component identification and traceability throughout the process.
• Verify components against specifications and complete inspection paperwork as per procedures.
• Interpret B.O.M. to meet all requirements.
