Junior Electrical Estimator

Are you a qualified electrician looking to transition off the tools and into an estimating role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and growing M&E contractor as a Junior Electrical Estimator, ideal for someone with hands-on experience who’s ready to build a career in the commercial side of the industry. About the Role : As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you’ll support the estimating team in preparing quotes and tenders for a wide range of electrical projects — from commercial fit-outs to residential developments. You’ll receive full training and mentoring from senior estimators, with a clear path for progression. Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain material and subcontractor quotes.
• Input take-offs and quantities into estimating software.
• Support tender submissions and pricing documents.
• Learn and develop your commercial understanding of project delivery. What We’re Looking For :
• Background as a qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• On-site experience with installations (domestic, commercial, or industrial).
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills (Excel, etc.).
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in estimating.
