Senior Structural Engineer

Are you a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a proven track record in both the Nuclear and Oil & Gas sectors? Are you Chartered with either the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE)? We're seeking a talented freelance professional to join our team on a project basis, contributing your expertise to complex and critical infrastructure projects. As a freelance Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for : Leading the structural design and analysis of various components and systems within nuclear facilities and oil & gas installations. Conducting detailed calculations, simulations, and assessments to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, API, ASME, AISC). Developing and reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and process engineers, to integrate structural designs seamlessly into larger projects. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed, leveraging your chartered expertise. Participating in design reviews, hazard identification, and risk assessment processes.
