Job descriptionSubstantial experience delivering highways / roads projects under NEC contracts. Demonstrated knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4. Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills. Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field. NEC Project Manager Accreditation (desirable but not essential). Chartered or working toward chartership with ICE, APM or a similar body (preferred). Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to work on-site in Northern Ireland as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage civil engineering works related to highways and road schemes.
- Act as the named NEC Project Manager, overseeing all contract obligations.
- Administer the NEC3 / NEC4 contract including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates.
- Liaise with contractors, designers, local authorities, and internal project teams.
- Monitor performance against cost, quality, and time objectives.
- Chair progress meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure CDM and HSE compliance across all phases of the project.
