We are recruiting for a leading Generator Servicing business based in the South of England. This role is key to our clients planned expansion. If you are looking to join an expanding business in a varied role that is servicing customer sites, then look no further. The Person :
- Apprentice Trained (NVQ 2 or 3).
- 3 Years generator experience.
- Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams.
- Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone.
- Great customer facing skills. The Role :
- You will be required to work both in a workshop and site environment
- Be able to do mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Repair and service of generators
- Repair and service of associated equipment
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
- Service equipment both on and off site
- Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Complete paperwork and time-sheets in a timely manner
- Good customer service skills
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
- Ensure work / personal equipment complies with all safety standards
- This role would suit a Generator Engineer, Generator Service Engineer, HGV Technician, Diesel Engineer or Mobile HGV Technician. This role is hourly paid, between £17ph and £19ph with overtime at time + half.
