Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters.

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working pattern : 2-3 days per week in the office.

Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and / or limitations relating to nationality and / or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity :

MBDA seeks a UK Tax Compliance Specialist to assist with all aspects of UK tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Preparing documents for review, including Research & Development Expenditure Credit Claims, UK Corporation Tax Computations, PAYE reporting returns (PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report.
  • Supporting Central Finance with Monthly Tax Reporting for statutory accounts and audits.
  • Providing technical advice for VAT Return Preparation.
  • Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects for the Head of UK Tax Compliance & Customs.
  • What we're looking for :

  • A qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with proven experience in Corporate Taxes and tax reporting.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of UK Tax compliance.
  • Good accountancy knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience in industry or practice with strong technical skills applicable commercially.
