Job descriptionEnsure safety and proper behaviour of the public and users, preventing injury and damage Adhere to operational procedures, safety policies, and emergency plans Attend regular health & safety training Assist users in difficulty with appropriate lifesaving skills Conduct building patrols for maintenance and security Supervise children’s activities, including parties and camps Carry out pool tests and assist in plant room operations Participate in ongoing training to maintain competency and fitness standards Perform basic administrative duties such as bookings, cash handling, and customer reception Undertake other duties as required by centre management Knowledge of customer care requirements Conscientious and hardworking Effective communication skills Outgoing personality Ability to work well in a team Capability to perform the duties effectively
Location : Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre, Viewfield, Glenrothes, KY6 2RD
Salary : £23,783 - £24,890 per year, dependent on experience

Hours : 36 hours per week
Job Description
To supervise Leisure Centre users including adults, youths, children, and groups, ensuring the safe use of facilities and equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of the building.
Requirements
- Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
- Obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland prior to appointment
