Job Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to month end timetable
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Analysis of P&L nominals each month end to ensure completeness
- Enhance current reconciliations to ensure less risk of human error and automate where possible
- Be a point of contact for auditors during the audit, providing reconciliation and dealing with queries on balance sheet and P&L items
- Deep dive into balance sheet items where needed, dealing with other departments, to ensure the data we get is the best it can be for our reconciliation
- Preparation of adhoc reports and projects as required
Requirements
Fully Qualified AccountantAudit experience is a benefit2 years post qualification, industry experience would be beneficial with experience in closing the monthly books, management accounts etc.Experience with reconciliation is a must. Able to understand what a good reconciliation is and why it is importantManagement experience not essential, but experience coaching and mentoring junior staff is beneficial, such as an audit senior positionStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to adapt to fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentDesired Behaviors
