Maintenance Team Leader

A globally renowned manufacturer of products which is used in a wide variety of industries currently have an opening for a Maintenance Team Leader within their highly automated state-of-the-art facility in the Telford area. The Maintenance Team Leader will be working a double days (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm) shift pattern and will be responsible for managing the day to day workload for the maintenance team on shift. Further responsibilities will include :

• Ensuring all plant machinery and equipment runs to maximum efficiency
• Managing breakdowns of electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment on site.
• Working on PLCS.
• Developing and implementing TPM across the plant.
• Implementing improvement projects across the business to optimise the performance of all machinery and minimise downtime.
• Maximise uptime through planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Candidates need to be HNC or apprentice trained and have experience of leading a team. Further to this candidate will have demonstrable experience in PLC fault finding, problem solving and small modifications.
