X4 are partnered with one of London's fastest-growing commodity trading clients to hire a Contracts Specialist for their Legal, Compliance and Contracts team.

As a major player in global LNG and coal markets, they enter contracts ranging from spot cargo transactions to complex structured deals, governed by Master, Long-Form or industry-standard contracts.

In this role, the successful Contracts Specialist will oversee the full contracts management process for the physical coal and / or LNG business, covering deals originating in APAC, Europe and the US

Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist (Commodities) :

• Draft and review contracts for physical coal and LNG deals, ensuring alignment with terms and guidelines
• Manage contract workflows from deal closure to signature
• Assess counterparty amendments and advise Trading and Legal teams on risks
• Review bulk and LNG freight contracts
• Liaise closely with Legal on compliance and contract issues
