Job Title : Senior Electrical Quality Engineer

Location : Scotstoun, Glasgow

Salary : Up to £45,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing :

• Sampling fitted kit and terminations weekly to audit for conformity to identify defects
• Auditing electrical inspections and installations, identifying and raising non-conformances to uphold quality standards
• Documenting quality trends using Pareto analysis to pinpoint and prioritise areas for improvement
• Applying learning from previous contracts and experiences to reduce future quality escapes
• Leading and contributing to project reviews, improvement forums, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Developing and delivering visual presentations, toolbox talks, and quality alerts to drive awareness and engagement

The Type 26 Platform Quality Assurance team :

Be part of a dynamic team in the Type 26 programme, combining expertise from various disciplines. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager for Platform, you'll work across the full project lifecycle with engineering, operations, and project management teams. Tasks vary daily, giving broad exposure to quality disciplines. You'll gain insight, practical experience, and benefit from continuous development, including qualifications and auditor training-making this role ideal for those eager to grow and make a meaningful impact.
