Senior Project Manager

A well-established consultancy based in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its growing team in Waterloo. Operating across a wide range of public sector and heritage schemes, this forward-thinking business champions sustainability, innovation, and professional development. The successful Senior Project Manager will be part of a dynamic team delivering complex and high-profile projects across healthcare, education, and local authority sectors. The Senior Project Manager will benefit from a hybrid home working policy and flexible working across 4 or 5 days per week. The Senior Project Manager's role The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading capital projects from inception to completion, focusing on design co-ordination, procurement, programme and financial management, and delivery oversight. Projects range from small refurbishments to major new build schemes, with budgets from £100k to £100m. You will manage key client relationships and chair project meetings, oversee risk and change management, and ensure the smooth running of construction phases. The role also includes mentoring junior team members and playing a key part in shaping the direction of the project management offering. The Senior Project Manager Ideally, the Senior Project Manager will have : Technical experience in refurbishment, conversion, extension, or new build projects A background in building surveying, quantity surveying, architecture or engineering Experience working on public sector projects Working knowledge of JCT and / or NEC contracts Proven ability to manage teams and stakeholders across all phases Excellent written, financial, and verbal communication skills MRICS, MCIOB or working towards chartership In Return? £50,000 - £70,000 per annum Discretionary bonus 25 days holiday (increasing with service) Hybrid home working policy Enhanced employer pension contributions Career progression and chartership support Broad project variety and multi-disciplinary exposure If you are a Project Manager considering your career opportunities, then please contact Alex Ridgeway at Brandon James.
