We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join the Performing Arts department and help students express themselves through movement, creativity, and performance. Position Details Role : Dance Teacher Start Date : September 2025 Location : Telford, Shropshire Contract : Full-time (temporary or permanent options considered) Salary : MPS / UPS (depending on experience) About the Role Deliver engaging and inclusive Dance lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Inspire students to explore dance technique, performance, and choreography Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school productions, and showcases Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and creativity Collaborate with the Performing Arts team to deliver a dynamic and enriching curriculum The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or relevant teaching qualification in Dance or Performing Arts Has experience teaching Dance in a secondary school setting Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for student development Has experience with school performances and / or leading extra-curricular clubs (desirable) What the School Offers A supportive and collaborative Performing Arts department A welcoming school community with a strong focus on creativity and the arts Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities Access to purpose-built dance and performance facilities A chance to make a real impact and inspire young performers Why Choose Dunbar Education?
