Workonomics are partnering with a fintech whose mission is to help you do more with your money.

They’re building a platform in the financial advice industry that delivers better customer outcomes, at a lower cost, for more people.

By leveraging modern technology they're delivering higher and faster levels of service in a traditionally slow industry.

The company has strong product-market-fit, experienced year-on-year growth, and are now in scale-up mode.

They're now looking to hire a (backend-leaning) Mid-Level Software Engineer to :

• contribute to all backend and infrastructure services across the company
• help make significant efficiency improvements across the core platform
• build out a number of greenfield product initiatives

The roadmap is exciting, with lots of complex new features to build. They want their tech to be fully automated and do all of the heavy-lifting.

Their stack is a Python (Flask) backend and a TypeScript (React / Redux / Next.js) frontend, on a mix of Heroku and AWS. They also use PostgreSQL.

This will suit a product-minded, backend-focused engineer who likes working closely with non-technical stakeholders, and taking business ideas in to production
