We are seeking a Digital Construction Manager to join our Digital Construction Team.
The individual's key responsibilities are :
- Ensure our contractual obligations are met on all projects.
- Deliver consistently in accordance with the latest Group DCT strategy, process, and standards.
- Escalate non-conformances within the region and to Group DCT as necessary.
- Deliver targeted training and support to project teams.
- Monitor and report supply chain performance, specifically against delivery and compliance to the execution plan.
- Keep abreast of all relevant industry developments.
Duties of the Role :
Tender / Pre-Construction Support : Work with the Pre-Con Teams to review all received Digital Construction documents for accuracy and completeness. Identify delivery and commercial risks. Feed into tender process / submission. Develop responses to IM questions, including additional documentation. Ensure consultant / subcontractor scopes and standard documents are aligned to the project.Enhance Digital Construction Adoption and Utilisation : Advocate for Digital Construction and support project teams with digital delivery, including design, commercial, building services, health and safety, and quality. Promote the use of 3D models and site-based tools to realize Digital Construction benefits. Ensure effective meeting minutes are recorded for all IM-related meetings.Improve On-Site Coordination and Engagement : Engage with key project team members to plan for upcoming activities. Ensure mobilisation plans are followed, including Trial Exchange. Perform Clash Detection and facilitate issue management processes. Support clash workshops and ensure identified clashes are addressed promptly. Manage change control processes for new rulesets following reviews with site and quality teams.Data and Reporting : Centralize data KPIs for monthly progress reports. Integrate IM reports and TTCAs into the main group. Create Digital Construction case studies and share them via a central platform like SharePoint. Ensure all project documents related to Digital Construction are accurate and complete. Attend lessons learned sessions and maintain communication with Group DCT, sharing lessons learned and performance concerns.Training and Support : Provide targeted training to staff, assist with Task Team Assessments, and implement mitigation measures. Develop and deliver training programs. Organize and deliver project-specific supply chain training.Common Data Environment (CDE) Management : Monitor and support CDE deployment and management. Upskill document control teams and maintain accuracy of project data.Compliance : Ensure all information exchanges meet contractual requirements. Communicate non-compliance or poor performance to relevant parties. Support project reviews and ensure compliance with company standards. Communicate updates and support R&D pilot projects.Additional Duties : Perform other duties related to the role that contribute to individual development and company objectives.We offer a competitive salary, 25 days’ holiday per annum, and membership of our group personal pension scheme, subject to a qualifying period.
