Job descriptionExperience in pipe welding within the nuclear / oil & gas / marine industries Proficiency in TIG welding techniques Experience working with Duplex A solid understanding of pipe welding safety practices and procedures Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and precision in work Flexibility to work onsite at a different client location Capability to work extended hours when necessary Contract duration : 6-12 months Initial location : Renfrew, then Alloa 8-12 hour days 25 / h PAYE plus 3.02 / h holiday pay or 33.48 / h Umb Co Travel to the offsite work will be covered
We are on the lookout for an experienced Pipewelder to support a long term contract, based both on and offsite for our client.
Key Responsibilities :
- TIG Welding background
- Working on 1 / 2" -3" Duplex pipe
- Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project progression
