Ongoing Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced

Class 1 HGV Tramping Driver

to join our clients operation based in

Linwood . This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking consistent, full-time work

Monday to Friday , with overnight stays in the vehicle and

excellent hourly pay at £20.00 . You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries, operating in a professional and compliant manner, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care and communication. Key Responsibilities

Carry out Class 1 trunking and deliveries across the UK.

Tramp Monday to Friday, sleeping in the cab overnight.

Conduct daily walkaround checks and report any vehicle defects.

Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and delivery documentation.

Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding updates and ETAs.

Follow all current driving legislation and Working Time Directive rules.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence with Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement.

CPC and digital tachograph card.

Minimum 6 months experience preferred in a similar Class 1 role.

No more than 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN codes).

Comfortable with overnight tramping and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
