My client has been in the HVAC industry for over 45 years. We specialise in commercial chillers, boilers, and air conditioning. In the last 10 years, we have also expanded into FM services and more recently District Energy.

We have experienced growth in a new sector called Energy Services, working with major players in the district energy business around London. We have successfully tendered a static contract at a landmark site in London and now need to recruit a static team to deliver a first-class service.

We are recruiting static mechanical and electrical engineers to support this contract. A dedicated team approach is preferred to meet customer needs, backed by our mobile engineers for support.

The duties include :

• Carrying out planned maintenance within the energy centre, satellite plant rooms, risers, and corridors.
• Responding to reactive call-outs and site repairs.
• Mechanical duties such as pump overhauls, valve and pipework repairs, vibration analysis, PHEX maintenance, leak fixing, belt and pulley alignment checks, fault finding, boiler checks, water treatment, temperature monitoring, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Electrical duties including motor testing, BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding, and cost reduction efforts.
• Servicing AHUs, FCUs, pumps, inverters, adiabatic coolers, valves, sidestream filters, PHEX, pipework, and other M&E & HVAC equipment.
• Maintaining a good understanding of L8 / Legionella regulations.
• Problem-solving and fault rectification.
• Managing subcontractors and technical resources.
• Overseeing health & safety in line with client systems.
• Developing quotations for additional works and repairs.

We focus on asset performance improvement, utilizing market-leading optimization software. We seek engineers who can help us deliver exceptional results.

Initial tasks include site familiarization and asset verification, with involvement in developing a comprehensive PPM and asset management system.
