Surrey County Council's MAP team, based in the brand-new Victoria Gate office in Woking, is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their collaborative and dynamic service.
This non-case holding role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex safeguarding concerns. It's also great if you're looking for more structure in your working day - with regular office hours, no home visits, and a strong emphasis on professional support and development.

What you'll be doing :

Lead and contribute to complex multi-agency safeguarding assessments
Work alongside police, health, education, and partner agencies in a joint decision-making model
Provide advice, consultation, and support to colleagues around complex cases
Support the delivery of high-quality safeguarding responses
Help shape best practice and continuous improvement within the team

What we're looking for :
n \n
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration
Experience in safeguarding and confidence managing complex or high-risk cases
Strong assessment, analysis, and decision-making skills
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively under pressure
A drive to improve outcomes for children and families across Surrey
