Maintenance Electrician – Glasgow City Centre - £39,000 DOE

CBW is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a well-established FM service provider, working in a prestigious commercial building in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. This role is perfect for a skilled engineer with a strong understanding of general maintenance trades and holding a 18th Edition electrical qualification. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, ensuring the smooth operation of building systems.

The Role :

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) : Conducting regular checks and servicing on electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Reactive Maintenance : Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain business operations.
• General Maintenance : Carrying out a variety of building maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, joinery, and fabric repairs to keep the property in top condition.
• Electrical Work : Handling tasks requiring 17th / 18th Edition qualifications, including testing, repairs, and installations of electrical systems.
• Health & Safety Compliance : Ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with H&S regulations, completing relevant documentation, and mitigating risks on site.
• Customer Service : Providing exceptional service to building occupants, effectively communicating updates on maintenance issues or completed work.
