If you are an experienced pharmacist with a passion for service development and a track record of delivering results, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformative change across hospital pharmacy services in Lothian.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and innovative pharmacist to support medicines governance in the organisation by risk assessing specialist electronic prescribing and administration systems. The HEPMA system has been implemented across many in-patient areas in the organisation and during this process, specialist prescribing systems were identified. Multiple system use in the organisation necessitates risk assessment to support overall strategy. You will gain experience of project leadership, transformational service changes, electronic prescribing governance and enhanced system access. The post will be based at the team’s Royal Edinburgh Hospital office with opportunity for hybrid working and a sessional commitment to maintain skills.
