Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Digital Build) to drive certainty, engineered safety, and excellence in delivery at the Monklands Replacement Project.

NHS Lanarkshire's ambition is to deliver Scotland's first fully digital and net zero carbon hospital through the Monklands Replacement Project (MRP). The new hospital is a hugely significant capital project with massive benefits for healthcare, the economy, and the local community across Lanarkshire and Scotland.

This is an office-based role

This is the perfect role for an experienced Senior Engineer to move into a Digital Build role. We are able to support your development in the Digital BIM space.

If you are :

• Passionate about seeking best engineering solutions to complex multi-disciplinary interfaces.
• Detail-oriented with a skill for analysing design information.
• Experienced in Reinforced Concrete Structure construction with a keen interest in temporary works, reinforcement detailing, or Design for Manufacture and Assembly.
• Confident working collaboratively with design consultants and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve issues ahead of construction.
• Enthusiastic about working with trades and construction management to ensure a buildable solution.
• Energized by seeing your work reflected in real construction progress.
• Looking to gain exposure to high-level design decision-making related to construction design.
• Excited about using digital technologies to achieve all the above
