HGV Class 2 Night Driver

Job description Overview : We are seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV Night Driver to join our team for our Client in Batley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering various food products to customers across the country in a refrigerated trailer. Duties : - Includes Handball- Driving a class 2 vehicle in a safe manner - Transport goods over local to medium distances - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Document and log work / rest periods and miles spent driving - Keep a Log of POD's Pay and Shifts : -4 on 4 off shift pattern -1500-2000 start times - Min 8 hours per shift -£16.50 Per hour all days / hours Qualifications : - 1 Year Class 2 HGV CAT C - Valid CPC and Tachograph Card - Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations - No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted : DD,DG,IN,CD,TT. - Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery - Able to carry out manual handling If you are a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver with a passion for safe driving, we would like to hear from you.
