Requirements :

  • Degree qualified (or experience equivalent to a degree).
  • Strong demonstrable leadership skills, with experience in building and managing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction logistics, warehousing, inventory systems, and transportation planning.
  • Experience within the construction industry.
  • CILT membership.

  • Develop and execute the company-wide logistics strategy aligned with construction project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and execute site-specific logistics plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Implement and maintain logistics systems and technology to improve visibility, tracking, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams to align logistics with business priorities.
  • Manage storage operations, inventory control, and asset management.
  • Plan and monitor transport routes and logistics operations across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to forecast material needs and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Negotiate contracts with logistics providers, transportation companies, and storage providers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards for logistics operations.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
  • Lead logistics packages – Traffic Management, Security, Excavated Material, and Fleet.
