Job descriptionYou hold a recognised Electrical qualification and have your 17th or 18th Edition certification. You’re confident working in fast-paced environments like food manufacturing or FMCG. Strong diagnostic skills and a methodical, hands-on approach are your strengths. You’re a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Location : Bolton
Salary : £41,000 per annum
Hours : 5 days over 7 on a rotating shift pattern (6am–2 : 30pm / 1 : 30pm–10pm / 10pm–6 : 30am)
Saturdays on a rota basis – 1 in 4
Key Responsibilities :
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production and process machinery.
- Support installations and modifications to plant equipment when needed.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on phase 3 process equipment, robotics, and electrical / mechanical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with site health & safety policies, using the correct permit-to-work systems.
- Work from technical manuals and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate with the wider team to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
