A compassionate and hard working Learning Support Assistant is required for a lovely secondary school in Newcastle This is a long term role to start asap. Suitable candidates will preferably have experience of working with students who have Challenging Behaviours and or other SEND needs (e.g. ADHD, Autism, ADD). You will need to be proactive in your approach to working with students and be encouraging, energetic, engaging and supportive.
You must hold a Teaching Assistant or Youth Work qualification and have a willingness to work with children with SEN needs to overcome barriers to their learning.
