Shared Services Accounts Payable Clerk – Maidstone Head Office

Working in our Shared Services team as an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a key part of the department.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Receive all invoices, ensuring that they are allocated to an expense heading, and have been approved for payment.
  • Post all invoices.
  • Follow up and investigate all missing invoices after agreement of monthly statement.
  • Arrange payment of creditors.
  • Create new Creditor Master Data accounts.
  • Deliver outstanding Customer Service on the Help Desk to resolve issues in a timely and professional way.
  • Complete Trade Payables Statement Reconciliations so that creditor risk exposure is mitigated.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable or finance-related role is beneficial
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
