Datacenter Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Datacenter Engineer to support the build, maintenance, and operational management of cutting-edge test and development lab environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Linux and Windows system administration, networking, and virtualization, who enjoys working hands-on with hardware and infrastructure in a highly technical environment.

You’ll be part of a team delivering reliable, compliant, and operational labs that support developers, test teams, and external customers across mobility, satellite, and wireless communication sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install and configure hardware (servers, switches, routers, PDUs), rack and run cables
• Run, label, and dress cabling for interconnected systems
• Linux and Windows system administration, including patching and security
• Maintain virtualized environments (VMware, KVM, etc.)
• Implement network monitoring, management, and security protocols
• Create and maintain diagrams, documentation, and operational guides
• Troubleshoot technical issues, providing support to teams and customers
• Identify opportunities for automation and develop supporting scripts / tools
