Position Overview :

As Fund Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the business. You will be responsible for managing fund reporting, investor reporting, and analysis, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and transparency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple real estate investment funds.
  • Oversee the cash management process, including fund liquidity and capital calls / distributions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Manage the preparation and review of investor reports, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive communication with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the investment team to track and analyze fund performance, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Support the fund audit process and liaise with external auditors, ensuring audits are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop and implement best practices for fund accounting, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Assist in the financial modeling and forecasting for future fund investments and new capital raises.
  • Liaise with multi-jurisdictional teams.

Qualifications :

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • 5-7 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 3 years in a private equity or real estate investment firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of private equity fund structures, real estate investments, and fund accounting principles (U.S. GAAP, IFRS).
  • Experience with investor reporting, fund-level financial analysis, and investor communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
